AIMS Governance

Governance that runs as part of the work, not beside it.

HumAi AOS operates an AI management system aligned in practice to ISO/IEC 42001 from inside the platform it governs. Controls bind to live operational queries. Evidence is generated by delivery rather than assembled for an auditor. And the parts that are not yet assessed say so, on the page and on the surface.

The problem

Every management system decays for the same reason.

The system becomes a parallel documentation universe: written by different people, at a different time, for an audit that arrives in March. Between audits it rots, and everyone involved quietly knows the folder is theatre. The cost is not the paperwork. It is that the organisation cannot actually answer what it did, why, on whose authority, or whether the control worked.

  • Evidence assembled after the factScreenshots and spreadsheets gathered in the fortnight before an audit describe a system rather than demonstrate one.
  • Controls asserted, never testedA control marked implemented in a register is a claim. Without an executed check behind it, nobody knows whether it operated at all.
  • No line from output back to authorityWhen something goes wrong the question is who authorised it and under what configuration. Most systems cannot answer either.
The approach

The decision record is the evidence.

Because governance sits inside the runtime rather than beside it, the record is produced at the moment of the decision, by the actor who made it, in the same transaction. There is no separate compliance activity to fall behind, because there is no separate compliance activity.

  • Demonstrated, not attestedA control counts as demonstrated only when its bound operational query actually ran and passed. Defined but never executed is not live, and the register shows which is which.
  • Hash-chained audit evidenceConsequential actions append to a tamper-evident chain that verifies end to end. Editing or deleting a record breaks verification at that row, so the trail is checkable rather than trusted.
  • The estate, inventoriedEvery agent, model, tool and connector is registered as an AI system, with automated drift detection running against the live fleet rather than a spreadsheet of intentions.
  • Traceable to configurationOutputs carry the agent that produced them and a fingerprint of the exact persona, tool set and instructions the turn ran with.
  • Separation that holdsThe assurance agent prepares and reviews with read-only access to evidence. It never approves, never releases, and never writes to what it assures.
  • Authority that is granted and revocableConsequential actions pass an approval gate, and the authority in force at the moment of the decision is recorded with it.
The assurance agent

Your external auditor audits the system with Elias.

An external certification audit is awarded by an accredited body, and no software changes that. What software can change is the part that makes audits slow and expensive: the client who cannot produce evidence on demand. Elias Warrant is the auditee-side counterpart, the way a management representative is in any audit, except he does not have to go looking. Evidence comes back with the query that produced it, the time it ran and its position in the chain.

  • Internal audit and gap analysisRuns internally against the system on a standing schedule, and prepares what management review and a compliance audit will ask for.
  • Prepares and reviews, never approvesAssurance opinion is not approval, risk acceptance or release authority. Those stay with a named human.
  • Independence you can checkA human auditor's independence is asserted and periodically attested. His is enforced by read-only access and recorded in the same chain, so his own consistency is auditable.
  • Available at 3am on a SundayThe same criteria applied at the same depth every time, without fatigue and without the person who signs the invoices leaning on the finding.
Live posture

The real numbers, including the unflattering ones.

This is the operating posture of the HumAi estate as at the verification date, taken from the same surface the platform runs on. It is published complete rather than curated, because a governance figure with the awkward half removed is marketing, not evidence.

  • Audit chain: Verified end to endTamper-evident, verifies from genesis to head
  • Evidence bindings: 10 of 11 liveOne manual, none defined-but-unexecuted
  • Estate inventory: 87 systemsEvery agent registered as an AI system
  • Control register: 12 controls8 ISO/IEC 42001, 4 ISO/IEC 27001
  • The seeded control catalogue is deliberately partial. Full Statement of Applicability enumeration and applicability assessment are pending access to licensed standards text.
  • Control titles are pending verification against licensed standards text.
  • Estate inventory is registered but enrichment is incomplete, and drift findings are open rather than closed.
  • This is an aligned management system, not a certified one. Certification and conformity assessment are awarded by an accredited certification body.

Figures verified 16 August 2026.

In short

Governance is the engineered route through the work.

Every claim on this page is either demonstrated on the assurance surface inside the platform or stated as not yet assessed. That is the whole proposition: not a promise that the system is compliant, but a system where the question can actually be answered, on any day, without a fortnight of preparation.
